The buzz of the main bar makes the perfect setting for catching up with friends and after work drinks. The casual atmosphere, and open kitchen mean you can book an area or just arrive on the day and find a spot for drinks and a bite to eat right in the thick of it all.
Private dining rooms are great, but sometimes you just need a bit more space, maybe an entire private bar? The Black Door Cocktail Bar on the first floor is a great private hire space for up to 60 people! Available day times or evenings, with a late license also available, it’s the perfect setting for a larger event.
Our cosy private room on the 2nd floor is perfect for private dining.

From a three-course feast to a weekend away, or simply a quiet couple of pints in their favourite local, treat someone special and give the gift of the pub this Christmas.
You can get pencilled-in straight away. Once you’re ready to confirm, we’ll ask for a deposit payment to secure your spot.
For Christmas Day Bookings we require a deposit payment of the full menu price per person in advance.
Your deposit is fully refundable up to 14 days before your booking date. If you would like to pay by BACs payments this must be completed 10 working days before the event. Your deposit payment will be deducted from your final bill and where applicable will be put towards your minimum spend requirement.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept payments by cheque.
Please supply full menu choices via our online pre-ordering systems 14 days in advance (or by the 10th December for Christmas Day Dining) and also advise us if your guests have any special dietary requirements.
Amendments to guest menu choices may only be made up to 10 working days before your booking date, preferably earlier. If you require any menus without calorie information, please request from the pub team.
We don’t allow and food or drinks to be consumed on site, but we do have a fabulous range of food and drinks menus and packages, perfect to get the party started.
